01 / The release
A system in four states.
Critical Resonator unfolds at the threshold between structure and atmosphere. Four extended movements trace a sequence of preparation, flux, drift, and stabilization.
Drift is not an absence of form. It is the form changing shape.
02 / Listening room
Four extended movements
Four 40-second excerpts, one from each movement of the record.
Flux
Subdivision of Flux
Internal currents divide, repeat, and begin to change the field around them.Drift
Awaiting the Virtual Drift
The structure loosens its edges and remains suspended between states.Stabilization
Conditions for a Lydian State
The final movement settles without closing the system completely.03 / The artist
Orbital Matter
Orbital Matter is an ambient electronic project centered on modular synthesis, long-form composition, and slowly changing systems. The work treats drift as structure, shaping fields where voltage, noise, resonance, and tonal material remain in suspension.
Each release is treated as a self-contained system: a set of conditions, a field of pressure, and a gradual change in state.
